WOMEN’S WINTER 2021 STUDY GROUPS

David: His Story is Our Story – Online study
Facilitated by Carol Bagley
No cost

“Have you ever wondered if God could really use someone like you? Then the story of David is for you. The shepherd. The king. The warrior. The friend. The sinner. The man of faith. David is known for carrying many titles over the span of his lifetime, but he is most often referred to as a man after God’s own heart. While David’s transparent faith was true and his loyalty to his Lord was real, an in-depth look into Scripture reveals that his life was also marked by times of drama, deceit, devastation, and doubt. How then is David known for being such an influential Bible hero? Unfaithful David served a faithful God.”

Ephesians: The Gospel Changes Everything – Online Bible Study
Facilitated by Kristi Stephens and Amanda Plastow
No Cost

Who am I in Christ? What does it look like to find my identity and purpose in Him alone? And what difference should it make in the way I live today? Commentator Kent Hughes states that “Ephesians – carefully, reverently, prayerfully considered – will change our lives. It is not so much a question of what we will do with the epistle, but what it will do with us.” Join us as we dig into Paul’s rich letter to the church in Ephesus and discover how the Gospel changes everything.

Take Courage: a study of Haggai by Jennifer Rothschild
Facilitated by Julie Bartlette and Marsha Boner
Cost: $20

Do you ever feel like the happy ending of your story is a million miles away?

Then you know how the Jewish people felt when they returned to their wrecked land after exile and began rebuilding the temple. They were distracted, discouraged, and ready to throw in the towel. But the prophet Haggai reminded them they could find courage in the God who had never left them.

Sometimes the landscapes of our lives feel wrecked, with our hope and purpose in shambles. We too get distracted and discouraged. However, God’s presence and promises give us the courage to press on and trust Him with our story.”

Registration requested by January 31.
